M&R Media, is an audio-visual company founded by Michael Maddox, in Texas, in 2015. Michael’s passion for audio-visual production coupled with the unconditional support of his wife, Rebecca, inspired him to set up M&R Media, which incidentally is a combination of their initials.
The company began by providing DJ services and small installations for local churches. Over time, our reputation for delivering exceptional AV experiences grew, leading us to work with esteemed clients such as The JW Marriot Houston Downtown, Fort-bend County Water District, and Magician Ben Jackson's Magic, Music, and Mayhem Show.
As a team, M&R Media brings together a group of dedicated professionals with diverse expertise in audio-visual production. Our team includes licensed drone pilots and videographers, adding a new dimension of creativity and versatility to our services. Today, we continue to provide excellence in AV production, offering subtle sophistication and expressive creativity when it matters most.
Personal Bio
Michael Maddox is the owner and operator of M&R Media Productions. With over 18 years of experience in the AV industry, Michael has worked in various roles, including regional manager for a multi-million dollar AV company, system design engineer for a local Hi-Fi store, and Director of Technology for Magnolia Cowboy Church. His journey in the AV field began during his school years when he learned the ropes of setting up projectors and PCs in a portable church with his father. Over time, his skills expanded to lighting and audio production as a theater technician. Alongside his passion for audio-visual systems, Michael enjoys music, freshwater aquariums, culinary arts, and men's fashion. He takes pride in helping clients create unforgettable experiences through the perfect fusion of sound and vision.
